@DavidChee Not close to mammalian brains. I think they’ve tried worms with uncertain/bad results. The technology is based on slicing the brain, scanning each slice with high res microscopes, then reconstructing in software by reconnecting the slices and instantiating the full brain in a 3D model. Every step is hard and it’s not clear that EVEN in theory that it would lead to a functioning brain simulation.
