@jim does not appreciate this:

Good performance:

  • Influencer (very successful at building a cult following and promoting ideas and products to them)

Mid or unknown performance:

  • Businessman (got a small loan of a million dollars from his dad, went bust a bunch of times, but also still eventually managed to become rich)

  • Grandfather (I literally never knew he had any grandkids, let alone 10, kinda surprised they get zero media attention)

  • Friend (no clue who his friends are or how he treats them)

  • Author (art of the deal is a popular successful book I think, but I heard rumours that he had a ghost writer, and his tweets/truths are dogshite from an artistic perspective imo even though as mentioned they're evidently effective on his fanbase)

Bad performance:

  • Dancer (bruh why he keep jacking off ghosts?)

  • Husband (cheated and divorced several times, his current wife won't kiss him in public)

  • Actor (his impressions of others are shite, and his home alone cameo was just as himself)

  • Father (it's a running joke that he neglects his children)

  • President (authoritarian, wannabe dictator, capitalist, reactionary, unprofessional, incompetent, pretty much every important thing wrong, even though obviously it is possible to be even worse, there are very few modern day western world politicians who are even close to as bad)

@TheAllMemeingEye What exactly does 'reactionary' mean in lib-speak? It always reminds me of this communist propaganda poster from post-WW2 Poland, "A giant and spit-covered dwarf of reaction"

@skibidist personally I would consider myself a leftist rather than a lib (to me that means neoliberal status quo centrism) but when I say reactionary I basically mean it as a synonym for anti-progressive, conservative, traditionalist etc.

I consider it to be one of the two extremes one can take on what I could call cultural/social/societal politics i.e. system regarding societal changes like religion, moral circle expansion (e.g. feminism, anti-racism, LGBT+ rights, animal rights etc.), globalisation (e.g. multinational unions, immigration etc.), and science/technology (e.g. climate change, vaccines, AI etc.).

I first came across the phrase as the label the 8values political test gives you for the societal axis if you rate extremely high on the tradition side.

In the poster you share, it looks like they're basically doing a low effort chad vs soyjack meme, even if I might partially agree with the message (I suspect the creators have pretty dodgy definitions of progress and reaction) the execution leaves a lot to be desired lol

@TheAllMemeingEye Turns out I am a lib

it looks like they're basically doing a low effort chad vs soyjack meme

I mean it's 80 years old, but interesting that it indeed seems to be a past reincarnation of this meme.

I suspect the creators have pretty dodgy definitions of progress and reaction

It's still the same struggle between liberty and the dark forces of collectivism ..

not sure if you want to agree with the literal message though unless you are a fan of the Soviet Union

@skibidist

Turns out I am a lib

Lmao I never thought I would see the day 😆

I previously would've predicted with near certainty that you would be rated capitalist, nationalist, anarchist, reactionary, with the ideology label as ancap or hoppian or something, but this was a completely unexpected result.

Tbf I do think their ideology labelling program is rather janky, I would consider neoliberalism to either be centre on everything or maybe a slight leaning towards globe and progress, what you got I think would much more aptly be labelled national capitalism or something.

@TheAllMemeingEye I just learned about nrx or Dark Enlightenment. I think that's my camp. and what a cool name

@skibidist I would highly recommend reading at least parts of this

Do any personal indignities even register when you get elevated to the top of the world through the marriage?
