Linkin Park was a rock band with a more than 20 year career, cut tragically short with the suicide of lead singer Chester Bennington in 2017. Earlier this month, Linkin Park put out a new single, Friendly Fire, which followed 2023’s Lost.

Will Linkin Park put out a new album in the 2020s?

This has to be a new album comprised of work that the band has not previously released. It does not need to necessarily need to feature Chester’s vocals, but needs to be an album by “Linkin Park” as the primary or only artist. If the album contains almost exclusively new music, and 1-2 old songs, this will very likely Resolve YES.

Examples of albums that would count:

  • Yours Truly - Sublime with Rome (despite not featuring Bradley Nowell’s vocals, this was new music released by Sublime [with Rome]).

  • Legends Never Die - Juice WRLD (released posthumously containing entirely new music)

  • Queen, if they released new music with Adam Lambert.
