Resolution Criteria:
Official Announcement: The announcement must come from Tesla, Inc. or an authorized representative (such as Elon Musk) in an official capacity. Speculations, rumors, or unofficial reports are not sufficient.
New Transportation Vehicle Type: The announced vehicle must be a new type that Tesla has not previously sold. For clarity, a "new type" means a fundamentally different kind of vehicle (motorcycle, plane, helicopter, boat, or vehicle with less or more than 4 wheels) rather than a new model of an existing type.
Development or Launch: The announcement should clearly state that Tesla is either developing or launching the new vehicle type. Mere expression of interest or consideration is not sufficient.
Deadline: The official announcement must be made on or before December 31, 2025.
Judgement: Evidence of compliance with these criteria can come from reputable media reports, official Tesla communications, or public statements by authorized Tesla representatives.
Is a van / bus / minibus / skateboard or something similar with 4 wheels automatically not qualifying or might something that is different enough with 4 wheels qualify?
In particular could Robovan qualify if it has 4 wheels?
“We’re going to make this, and it’s going to look like that,” said Musk
Presumably this with prototype on display would be sufficient re developing or launching?
Market price hasn't changed so presumably doesn't qualify if it has 4 wheels?
