Assuming that if the Six Nations changes its name or even fundamentally morphs into a new European top tier competition this will still apply?

A new European competition would have to obviously be a successor to the Six Nations.

@NcyRocks I just don't see how Georgia can be denied indefinitely. It's so bad for the game. Then you see the hunger that Portugal have; there's no point expanding to Seven Nations because soon someone else will be knocking on the door. European international rugby needs a proper fully-tiered competition with promotion and relegation, and the legacy nations should be brave enough and have enough vision for the future to lead this.

@JoshuaWilkes amazing how in less than two weeks this take has already become outdated and the idea of an expansion that doesn't encompass Portugal is ridiculous
