This market will resolve YES if the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognizes pole dancing as an Olympic sport before 2033. This market will resolve NO if this does not happen. It is sufficient for the IOC to decide to include the sport in an Olympic Games well into the future, as long as they decide to do so.

I will not bet on this market.

Pole dancing has a long way to go before it can become an Olympic sport. Presently, the International Pole Sports Federation (IPSF) is only an observer member of the Global Association of International Sports Federations. To apply to the IOC, they would need to be a full member. In addition they would need to satisfy criteria given by the IOC, including popularity around the world and many other criteria.
