Following last year’s market, I wanted to tweak one thing. Instead of measuring from the close of the final trading day of 2024, I’m measuring from the open of the first trading day of 2025 to the close of the final trading day of the calendar year.
Will revise description with 2025 opening info from Jan 2. Below:
Alphabet - $190.46
Amazon - $222.48
Apple - $248.95
Meta - $589.60
Netflix - $895.50
As of Valentine's Day 2025:
Alphabet - $190.46 ($185.23 as of close 2/14: -2.75%)
Amazon - $222.48 ($228.68 as of close 2/14: +2.79%)
Apple - $248.95 ($244.60 as of close 2/14: -1.75%)
Meta - $589.60 ($736.67 as of close 2/14: +24.94%)
Netflix - $895.50 ($1,058.60 as of close 2/14: +18.21%)
Please bear in mind my posts of "start of year" reflect their opening price from 1/2 and not their closing price. This will explain, if you're tracking at home, why the numbers in this comment are slightly different from any YTDs you find on the web. I don't know why I make these things harder than they're supposed to be; I just do.
