A shorter term version of /Joshua/what-individual-person-will-have-th

This question will resolve based on the official Wikipedia numbers here. Numbers are reported daily, so you can try to add them up yourself if you want to get an edge before the whole monthly view is available.

This market will resolve to the individual human with the most popular article who is/was not primarily a politician/royal/athlete/Elon Musk, as those answers are a bit too easy in most cases.

In November this was Matthew Perry, followed by Taylor Swift.

THIS one's a person 😛

@Marnix great find

@JoelMcGuire very strange that he's trending so high for seemingly no reason

Oh nice, yeah they just put up the monthly view for December and he was #1 that month!

@Joshua Who is that?

@NicoDelon very popular rapper - he got murdered in 2018 after only releasing a few albums

@Marnix Thanks! TIL.

@Marnix there is a weird bug with articles with lots of x's. I don't exactly know why but it's been in some talk pages before

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk%3AXXX%3A_Return_of_Xander_Cage#Trending_Article

This is a band not a person fyi for those aren't fans of classic rock 😛

@JoelMcGuire Ah you're right, edited.

That's a royal!

@Joshua sorry I misclicked the second one rip my 25 mana

I can see how it'd be unclear though, I'll edit to make it more explicit since she in particular is often high in the rankings.

@JoelMcGuire yeah I definitely read it, knew she was ultra popular and then made the answer off the title

@JoelMcGuire Sent ya a managram with a refund.

@Joshua I think it could could be more interesting to have a "last 10 winners list plus some all stars" be excluded rather than making it based off categories in the future.

I'm concerned that categories are going to get blurry i.e. is Ronald Reagan an actor or a politician.

So something like this:

These people aren't eligible

Elon

Trump

Biden

Cleopatra

Napoleon

[Last 10 winners]

@Joshua Yeah, since I'm the one benefiting from this mistake, I'll send you the 50 Mana.

@Lion he already sent the mana so should pay him if you want to

@JoelMcGuire I exactly did this :) (i've checked it beforehand)
