I'll bet on this tomorrow, but my position on the Current Cryonics Industry:
1) technology is stagnant,
2) has little investment,
3) has zero market incentive to produce a product that actually works.
My estimate is 5%, therefore I should buy NO until this market reaches 5%
I'll note that 5% is infinitely better than 0% (for non spiritualistic people), so if you do not have dependents who would need an inheritance, AND aging will not be cured within your brain's natural lifespan, purchasing a cryonics insurance policy still makes sense to me.
