An answer resolves YES when that person democratic become the president of Brazil.

It's important to note that temporary occupation of the presidency, such as during a president's travels, does not count as a YES. But if a vice president assumes the presidency in a non-temporary capacity, such as due to the president's resignation, removal from office, or incapacity it counts as YES.

Resolves NO upon their death if they have not become president.

I may edit or N/A added answers if they are e.g. duplicates, unclear, etc.

What does “become president” mean? Depending on the definition, Alckmin already became president - when Lula traveled abroad, for example, he took on the role of president

@andyou i added this to the description: "It's important to note that temporary occupation of the presidency, such as during a president's travels, does not count as a YES.
