Most countries are connected to the internet.

Yes = from today (10/16/23) to December 31st, 2026, one national government that is not already disconnected from the internet (i.e. North Korea) will disconnect their people from the internet. The disconnect does not have to be complete - I will accept situations in which government leaders keep a connection for themselves - but it must be both impossible for the average citizen to connect to the internet with standard technology and/or declared illegal by the authorities.

This wouldn't be a scenario in which the government blocks hundreds of sites and the people have to post through Telegram/What's App, or even like China's Great Firewall where people can get through with a VPN, this would be more like North Korea's levels of blockage.

Does the block have to still be in effect in 2027?

predictedYES

@Marv No, it just has to occur for an indefinite amount of time before 1/1/27

@DHKPadawan Think it's quite likely then, governments already frequently block social media to disrupt protests and there's a lot of time until 2027.

Ahh I see what you mean. I have updated my criteria to better reflect my intentions with this question.
