@mxrgb Sounds more to me like he went out of his way to not apologize.

“I understand that to some, that felt either ill-timed or unclear, or maybe both, and for those who think I did point a finger, I get why you’re upset.” addressed it but it's clearly a non-apology.

An apology would be worse for his brand than just calling it a day and leaving.

So it's a bet on whether a late night host is a coward....

But then again he already got cancelled so maybe it doent mater to him anymore
