Resolution criteria

This market resolves YES if Anthropic's next major Claude model release after the market creation date is named "Claude Sonnet 4.7" or includes "Sonnet 4.7" as its primary designation. It resolves NO if the next release is any other model name or version number (e.g., Sonnet 4.6, Sonnet 5, Opus 5, etc.). Resolution will be determined by Anthropic's official announcement on their website or API documentation. If no new models by end of 2026, resolves no.

Background

The latest Claude model is Claude Opus 4.5, released in November 2025. Anthropic announced Sonnet 4.5 on September 29, 2025, presenting it as the company's most capable model at the time for coding, agents, and computer use. Claude 3.7 Sonnet was released on February 24, 2025.
