@mods what's gonna happen with this market? It seems from the interface like it's closed but not resolved. Is that correct? Is someone from the mod team going to resolve this in January?

@Enlil yeah if nothing else happens mods will resolve the market in January. Maybe we should extend it til then too

@Bayesian yeah, IMO no reason to not allow new participation unless that opens the door for more shenanigans by the original creator

@Enlil looks like they bet a bunch on their own question from an alt and resolved, and then changed the account name to make it look like someone else. Can't be 100% on it, but it sure does look that way from the leaderboard here.

Is there any dictator who has actually done this when they took control? In all cases I'm aware of they either day it's temporary or pretend it's still a Democracy

If nothing else, they typically don't do it on day one
