@aitch Tesla has sold models at least a year before shipping. So does this refer to the first date you can put down money for an Optimus robot?

38% never seems extremely inaccurate. they have a pretty good prototype. and the initial robot will be pretty expensive so they wont have to deal with mass manufacturing in that phase. before 2030 should be at least 80%(cumulative).

@notarealuser True, they seem to be making remarkable progress - and Musk has said they will cost no more than $20K... although he does have a famous habit of exaggerating lol

@AitchKay if musk says it's 20k expect it to atleast be around 100k. boston dynamics atlas starts from 150k.
