In an Interview on the Tim Ferris show Deutsch said: "[...]Unfortunately there is no good book on Quantum Physics for beginners I hope to write one but there is a lot of things I hope to write, I am kind of negotiating writing a text book with some colleagues."

This market resolves YES if he writes a Textbook on Quantum Physics. He can just be one of many authors but must have had a major part in writing the book. If he just added a tiny part it won't count. If the book is finished posthumously but he did a lot of work on the book the market also resolves YES. I will wait a little after his death to resolve NO exept if it is clear he hasn't written a textbook on Quantum Physics.
