Coca-Cola Zero Sugar (commonly known as Coke Zero) is currently sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium.

Recently (as of 2023-06-30), there was some buzz regarding the WHO's cancer research agency deciding to list aspartame as a carcinogen. Even if aspartame is safe in the amount used for a soft drink, it's plausible that Coca-Cola may switch to a different sweetener if aspartame gets a sufficiently bad reputation.

The obvious sweetner to use in this case would be sucralose, as this has already been used in similar products such as Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Ultimate or Coca-Cola Sin Azucar.

I care about this because Coke Zero is my preferred source of caffeine, and I can't have sucralose without it upsetting my stomach.

This resolves Yes if Coke Zero labeled for sale in the US at any point before the end of 2024 has sucralose as an ingredient, in a way which indicates a widespread and permanent change. In practice, I'll probably resolve based on what the Coke Zero sold at my local Safeway has as its ingredients. The presence of aspartame or other sweetners is irrelevant. I will not bet in this market.
