Resolution criteria

This market resolves YES if Charli XCX has a single that reaches #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at any point during 2026. Resolution will be verified via the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The single must be credited to Charli XCX as the lead artist (features are acceptable). If no single reaches #1 during 2026, the market resolves NO.

Background

Charli XCX's highest Billboard Hot 100 placement as a lead artist is #12 with "Guess" featuring Billie Eilish in 2024, marking her first top 40 placement since 2013-14 when she had three consecutive top 10s: "I Love It" (#7), Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" (#1), and "Boom Clap" (#8). Her sixth studio album Brat (2024) became her second UK number-one album and was named the best album of 2024 by various publications.
