On This Week in Space episode 120, Tariq Malik predicted that NASA astronauts would land on the moon once again on or before July 20th, 2029, and offered to give Rod Pyle his Star Trek chair if this does not happen. This market serves to document and forecast this bet.
If this occurs before midnight July 21 2029 Eastern time, this market will resolve as YES. Otherwise, it will resolve as NO. An astronaut must have physically touched down on the moon by this time, being on the way, orbiting, or simply landing will not be sufficient.
